Pegasus Specialty Imports, LLC was founded in 2021 by Jon Riley with one goal in mind: To take the stress out of importing a vehicle from Japan.

Jon has worked in almost every aspect of the automotive industry: sales, customization, rentals, towing, repair, body work, etc. He is also a passionate automotive enthusiast, particularly when it comes to JDM vehicles. His dream has always been to import his favorite car, a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R. While researching how to import one, he made a realization: There are NO importers/brokers within almost 500 miles of the middle of the country! That is when he decided to open up his own business to assist people with importing their dream car in the heartland.

Working closely with top-tier Japanese exporter Zap Auto Export, Jon has fine-tuned the importing process to be as quick and painless as possible. Zap Auto Export handles the inspections and paperwork in Japan, and Pegasus Specialty Imports, LLC facilitates the procurement and transportation once a vehicle has been agreed upon. All you have to do is pick out your dream, and let us handle the rest!
